I can't connect to an eResource.
Tips for troubleshooting your access to our eResources

Please check the following:
- Has your card expired? Expired cards cannot access our electronic resources. Please renew your card.
- Are you using an out-of-town card? Only New Haven library cards can access our electronic resources. If you have registered your card from a different town, please use the electronic resources provided by your home library system.
If your New Haven library card is valid and current, please perform the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check your device for app updates. Be sure the device and app are up to date.
- Make sure your card number is being entered using four zeros. All New Haven cards begin with the prefix 250000. Your card number will never have fewer than four zeroes. (Though it might have more than four.)
- Be certain we still provide this resource. A full list of our electronic resources is available on our eResources page.
Forgot your PIN?
Your card PIN is the last four digits of your Library card number, unless you have changed it. If you are not sure what your PIN number is, please call our Circ Desk at (203) 946-8135
